Built to Make Events Run Properly.
Kims Kitchen & Events Limited is a Nairobi-based full-service event management and catering company coordinating planning, infrastructure, décor, catering, staffing and event-day execution for corporate, private and social events.
One Operational Structure for All Your Event Requirements
For many event hosts in Nairobi, organizing a conference, a wedding, or an institutional banquet becomes an exercise in vendor juggling: hiring one party for tents, another for food, a third for sound, and a fourth for décor. When delays happen, nobody takes responsibility.
Kims Kitchen & Events Limited was structured to solve that operational friction. We combine under one coordinated management team:
Built to Serve Diverse Nairobi Stakeholders:
Our operational workflows are structured to meet the formal documentation requirements of corporate procurement officers, HR/Admin teams, and NGOs (including eTIMS electronic tax invoicing, pre-approved LPOs, and credit agreements), while delivering the warmth, abundance, and cultural sensitivity required by families organizing ruracio ceremonies, wedding couples, and private hosts. From Planning to Handover Under One Lead
Instead of five disconnected suppliers acting in silos, our clients communicate with one designated lead who coordinates timelines, staff, logistics, and presentation.
Single Commercial Agreement
One master contract, one transparent cost sheet, one eTIMS tax invoice.
Synchronized Mobilization
Tents, drapes, and tables are placed before chafers are staged.
Direct Culinary Accountability
Hot meals prepared directly by our kitchen, never outsourced.
From Catering Operations to Complete Event Execution

Samuel Kimaru
Founder & Operations Director
Kims Kitchen & Events did not emerge as a marketing concept or a generic event agency. It grew organically from the kitchen floor up, beginning with fresh samosas, office lunches, and modest catering orders across Nairobi.
In those early assignments, catering proved to be the ultimate school of operational discipline. Food is unforgiving: it cannot be delivered three hours late; it cannot be served cold; and portion shortages ruin an occasion instantly. Mastering catering forced us to engineer rigorous standards:
As corporate clients and wedding hosts repeatedly asked us to step in and solve delays caused by independent tent suppliers, sound technicians, and decorators, we realized that the same operational discipline applied naturally to complete event management.
Today, catering remains our culinary anchor, while our operational infrastructure coordinates the entire event environment from ground setup to clean handover.
Built Like a System, Not Just an Event Company
With a background in software engineering, our founder approached event management as an interconnected architecture of dependencies rather than an ad-hoc party.
Events Are Interconnected Systems
An event does not succeed because individual elements look good in isolation. It succeeds because the chain of physical dependencies is managed without breaking:
Venue gate clearance determines arrival time. Arrival time dictates when tent structures can be erected.
Tent erection allows décor styling to begin. Linens and furniture layout establish guest circulation.
Guest seating dictates chafer line placement. Chafer ignition timing directly governs programme schedule.
Disciplined routing, vehicle redundancy, and uniformed team management anchor the entire chain.

Private & Social Celebrations
Milestone birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, family gatherings, and dignified memorial receptions.
One Team. One Master Event Plan.
Why multi-vendor events fail and how single-team accountability protects your schedule, budget, and guest experience.
Disconnected Suppliers & Logistical Cascades
When suppliers operate without a unified supervisor, delays compound rapidly across the event chain:
- ✕Tent supplier arrives late: Décor crew cannot begin setting drapes or lighting.
- ✕Décor delayed: Banqueting tables and Chiavari chairs cannot be dressed.
- ✕Catering setup pushed back: Roll-top chafers are ignited right as guests walk in.
- ✕Disorganized guest reception: Programme timeline falls apart and stress falls on the host.
Fewer Handoffs. Clearer Accountability. Better Timing.
One operational structure controls the dependencies under a single master event plan:
- Single Event Captain: Dedicated point of contact on-site from first truck arrival to final site cleanup.
- Synchronized Staging: Tents, seating, sound, and chafers are erected in structured sequence 2–3 hours early.
- In-House Culinary Precision: Hot food dispatched directly from our commercial kitchen with temperature logs.
- Unified Invoicing: One transparent master quote with KRA eTIMS electronic tax compliance.
